Your authentication data will be securely managed through Firebase Auth and our custom backend using JWT token exchange. Currently, the app does not require or support user accounts.

1.2 Game Tracking Data:

We store minimal game statistics locally on your device (using SharedPreferences) to:

  • Track how many games you've completed
  • Determine when to show premium features prompts
  • This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers
1.3 Feedback & Support:

Any messages, feedback, or inquiries you submit through email or support channels.

1.4 Analytics Information:

We use Firebase Analytics to collect:

  • Device type and operating system
  • App usage patterns (e.g., games completed, features used)
  • Video feature engagement (clicks on video recording, confirmations, shares, downloads)
  • Performance data and crash reports

This helps us understand how the app is used and improve the user experience.

1.5 Video Recordings:

IMPORTANT: All video recordings are stored LOCALLY on your device only. We do NOT upload, access, store, or transmit your videos to our servers. You have complete control over your recorded content.

1.6 Automatically Collected Information:

Device type, operating system, usage statistics, crash reports, and diagnostic data to improve app performance.

1.7 Third-Party Services:

If you interact with ads or analytics providers, they may collect data per their own policies.

Important: We do not have access to your video recordings. Any sharing of videos is done directly by you through your device's sharing functionality.

4. Video Recording & Storage

  • Local Storage Only: All videos are recorded and stored exclusively on your device. We do not collect, upload, or store your videos on our servers.
  • User Control: You have complete control over your videos. You can:
    • Keep them on your device
    • Delete them at any time through your device's file manager
    • Share them on social media platforms using your device's native sharing features
  • Social Media Sharing: When you share videos on social media, you are doing so directly from your device. We are not involved in this process, and the privacy policies of those platforms apply.
  • Watermarked Content: Videos may include an app watermark. By sharing watermarked videos publicly, you grant us permission to feature such content in our marketing materials and social media channels. This does not affect your ownership of the content.

5. Account Deletion (Future Feature)

When user accounts become available:

  • Your personal data (profile info, email, etc.) will be permanently removed
  • Locally stored game data will be cleared
  • Videos stored on your device will remain (you can delete them manually)
  • Your subscription status will be handled according to store policies

Imposter Game is rated 3+ on the Play Store and 4+ on App Store to ensure it's appropriate for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

  • Set up parental controls to manage in-app purchases
  • Supervise video recording activities

8. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Purchases are handled securely through the app store via RevenueCat. We do not store payment information directly.

VIP subscriptions include:

  • Access to all game categories
  • Chaos mode

Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled. Parents should ensure parental controls are set up to manage in-app purchases for children under their supervision.

9. Data Retention

  • Game Tracking: Stored locally on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data.
  • Analytics: Retained by Firebase according to their data retention policies.
  • Videos: Stored on your device until you manually delete them.
  • Support Communications: Retained as long as necessary to provide support.

  • Request deletion of your data (when accounts are available)
  • Opt out of analytics (by disabling analytics in device settings)
  • Control video recordings and deletion through your device

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Videos are stored locally on your device and protected by your device's security features.

  • Issues with video recording functionality on certain devices
